The quality … Read more A beautiful medium to heavy weight silk on silk (I think) fabric from the 1950 's or earlier. The quality of that of a Fortuny and was purchased at auction years ago with Fortuny curtains and early Italian tablecloths. My guess is that it was made in Italy. I do not see a marking. I love it and thought I would one day use it. The colors are a fairly bright gold and orange. There are approximately 11 yards 30 inches and the width is 4 ft 9 inches, and is rolled on the original board. This fabric is rolled on a wooden board and is very heavy. I would not want to fold it so should be picked up by Charish. See less
