Vintage; C.1900-C.1920's, French Art Nouveaux era, "Nebula," hand-painted, patented metal accents and bronze vase or urn, within a wet drapery … Read more Vintage; C.1900-C.1920's, French Art Nouveaux era, "Nebula," hand-painted, patented metal accents and bronze vase or urn, within a wet drapery motif was utilized in mind with the manufacture of this vase. The vase is a back to back, pair of Art Nouveaux stylized, females incorporated into a center piece vase or urn, hand-painted, and also incorporating an aesthetic vital to the Art Nouveau Period of Design. That of nature, a key component in the Art Nouveaux Period, encompassed nature, as is showcased within the base round maple leaf platform base. Also the exposed feet, and the undulating free form of the female with the inner portion of the vase showcasing the behind, or tush area, as well as the disarray or free form, yet architectural structural form and foray of the hair, a genial component, amongst the added, attributes of the Art Nouveaux Period, be it in sculptural forms, furniture, lighting, art, etc. This has been owned, by a well known artist, for over 50 plus years.
