Incredible antique English Ladies desk writing table made of beautiful burl walnut featuring a kidney shaped leather top with a shaped raised writing surface in the center with its own key hole and a leather flip top which opens up to reveal a small compartment underneath for storage. Atop that rests another small compartment with a key hole which is partitioned to fit writing tools, etc. topped by an elegant brass gallery. This desk is supported by very sturdy turned carved end supports and a cross carved stretcher standing on carved cabriole legs with the original castors.
