Lettuceware or cabbageware has grown in popularity over the years. These highly collectible pieces make any tablescape look chic! This serving dish was made in Portugal in the mid-20th century. Its body is round with a texture that resembles the texture of a head of cabbage. The edges are scalloped and protrude outwards giving it a realistic look. The lid is round and features a notch for the ladle to rest. A small leaf of the cabbage serves as a handle on the very top. The entire piece is glazed in a bright yellow. (Both inside and out) And the bottom is marked with Secla, Made in Portugal. Use this piece to add drama to your next dinner party or gathering. Or display it along with a current cabbage ware collection on a shelf.
