Fabulous piece of unique American art pottery by the great Ellen Evans of Terrafirma Ceramics of New York City, c.1997.
It has a wonderful snakeskin glaze on it, and is in very good vintage condition as shown, with age appropriate wear, no chips or cracks. Measuring 13 3/4" in diameter and 1" tall.
