This Really is Great Looking Authentic Antique American Cranberry Scoop - Rake. Circa Early 1900s. It is Completely Hand Made out of an Indigenous North American Hardwood that Appears to be Maple. It also has Some Steel Parts that Include Screen, Bolts, Back Panel & Structural Brackets Etc. It is in Totally Untouched - Exactly as it has Survived Over the Years Condition. It has Been Used During Cranberry Farm Harvest Extensively Over the Years and has Acquired a Number of "Battle Scars" Along the Way Giving it a Wonderful Natural Rustic & Aged Look - Patina that Cannot be Duplicated. NOTE That Both Side Panels are Wood Burned - Branded with The Initials U C C C C and Painted with Red Numbers 20-29 These Most Likely Related to the Cranberry Bog Farm that it Belonged To. I Purchased this Piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Northern Cape Cod Massachusetts Region. Cape Cod - Also known as the Cranberry Capital USA where they are and have been Abundantly Grown and Harvested for Many Years. These Types of Cranberry Rakes are very popular today as used for Wall Decor or Of Course Could Also Be Used - Displayed in any number of other ways. It is a True Piece of Americana.
