moreBest. Bar. Glasses. Ever.
These were designed in 1966 by Georges Briard and are part of an original set of eight. The combination of matte black and shiny gold makes for a very appealing graphic design that merits display when not in use.
Each glass includes a skull and crossbones in black with gold detailing, followed by a black square with the name of a known toxin highlighted in gold. There is a banner running along the bottom of each glass that reads "Name Your Poison", (as in 'what would you like to drink?' -- usually used when referring to alcoholic drinks). In between the two banners are graphics depicting a mortar/pestle, crossed daggers, and a revolver. Total conversation starter the next time drinks are being served.
Measurements: 5.75" high x 2.75" in diameter Each glass holds 10-11oz
Condition: Very good vintage condition. There are a few areas where the gold outline around the black square, ( with the name of the particular poison listed on that glass), shows slight wear. You would have to be looking for it to notice it. less
