Vintage cast iron bench upholstered in embossed leather, c.1930’s
The top has been recently re-upholstered in a decorative embossed brown leather. The black painted cast iron base ends are in an art nouveau style, with a central shield around which is a swirling iron design and standing on four lion paw feet. They are joined together by two barley twist iron rods which give stability to the base. On the interior of the shields is written ‘ Metal Allied Ind’
