An incredible set of extremely rare salad or dessert plates, very much in the style of Fornasetti, designed and created by Brenda Taylor England for the vulnerable exclusive British establishment Renwick & Clarke. Renwick and Clark was a premium, boutique, luxury retailer and interior design firm famously based in London. Operating primarily as an interior design brand and high-end shop, they were known for producing and curating, exceptional luxury goods. Their product line was especially known for their fine crystal bar ware and high-end decorative ceramics.
The pattern consists of a black transferware ring of neoclassic style accanthus leaves with hand applied pink splatter luster inset and then handpainted gold around the exterior. Photographs cannot completely capture the beauty of these plates. Each one is slightly different due to the hand applied finishes.
