Southampton, New York had a wonderful shop filled to the brim with 1930's restaurant china
that was stored in a loft never sold and forgotten, only to reappear in the 80's. in this one store.
These four sturdy plates are totally intact with no use marks. Good as new. They were made by Sterling China in Ohio. They are an interesting sienna brown with a rich sienna border.
There is a slight depression to hold the dinner firmly in place. As one says, "They don't make them like that anymore."
