A fine porcelain covered sugar bowl (that doubles perfectly as a table box).
In the Melone (pattern) designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1929.
In white porcelain with gold highlights.
By the Vienna Augarten Porcelain Manufactory ( Wiener Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten GmbH)
Hoffmann was a founding member of the Wiener Werkstätte and one of the leading Design voices of the 20th century.
