This Really is a Great Looking & Very Unusual Piece of Antique American Stoneware. Circa Early 1900s. This Handled Bucket would have Been Made to be Used on Farms for Chicken Feed. The Front of the Bucket is Decorated with an Advertisement for The Overall Feed Company in Boston Massachusetts and it Would have Been Given Away Free to Farmers - Customers as a Utilitarian Promotional Item. The Bucket is in Very Good Strong, Sound and Usable Condition - Displays Nicely. No Chips - No Structural Cracks - No Repairs. There is a Surface Glaze Hairline on the Inner Circumference Back Rim Area Only Extending Down a Few Inches but NOTE That this is a Kiln Flaw that would have Occurred in the Making - Firing Process and it is Not Visible on the Front Outer Perimeter Surface. This can Best be Seen in the Last 3 Photographs in my Listing. Imperfection Noted - The Heavy Gauge Steel Wire Swing Bracket ( Still Retains the Original Wood Handle ) has Surface Rust and has an Assortment of Bends - Bent Out of Shape Etc.
The Bucket Itself ( Not Including the Wire Bracket ) Measures Approx 6 1/4 inches Tall x 11 1/2 inches Long x 10 1/2 inches Wide.
It Measures Overall 11 1/2 inches Tall With - Including the Handle in the Carry Position
