They do have signs of wood worm, but that has been professionally eradicated. Some nicks and scratches, but overall in amazing condition for their age. They are also heavy and sturdy but not too wide and low due to the time period. There is a small stain in the tapestry that can be professionally cleaned out, but is not obvious. less
