Original seven … Read more A 19th century Country French comtoise, or grandfather clock, with polychrome painted pine case and embossed brass pendulum. Original seven day Morbier movement, professionally cleaned and in working order, having an enamel face signed by the clockmaker, Méchineau, at Loroux (in Brittany). Pendulum and clock surround have matching embossed, hand painted decoration in a harvest theme with a large sheaf of wheat bound with a sickle, grape clusters and sunflowers. See less
