Original seven … Read more A 19th century Country French comtoise, or grandfather clock, with polychrome painted pine case and embossed brass pendulum. Original seven day Morbier movement, professionally cleaned and in working order, having an enamel face signed by the clockmaker, Alexandre Fournier at St. Amand-en-Puisaye (in Central France). Pendulum and clock surround have matching embossed, hand painted decoration in a harvest theme with a sheaf of wheat, grape clusters and sunflowers. Bottom glass pane has been replaced. See less
