This lovely pair of decorative panels features two tile plaques mounted together on the original oakwood frame and depicts an abstract and stylized representation of Egyptians, a woman and a man, with colorful outfits. Judith Daner used the stenciling technique so that the design has a layered, dimensional effect rendered in variations of colors. The white, blue, dark red, orange, and black enameled colors are set against a cerulean blue background. The process took multiple firings to accomplish. There is no visible artist's signature, but Daner's style is unmistakable.
Enamel plaques are in perfect condition. There is no chip, crack, or repair. Minor wear on the wood frames.
