Each of the canape/dessert plates in this whimsical set of six by Limoges depicts a unique scene. Together, the porcelain plates tell the story of a wine and cheese course as it is deliciously completed. Use for eating or display.
Limoges porcelain originated in the 18th century and its manufacture was eventually absorbed by King Louis XVI with its appointment as ceramicists for the French royal family. Since then, Limoges porcelain manufactured in Sologne has exemplified the apex of French ceramic production and had inspired collectors for centuries.
