Two signed pieces by Carl Sorensen
of Philadelphia, Pa. A well known figure in The Arts and Crafts movement at the turn of the century, Carl Sorensen later went on to work as a designer for Tiffany Studios, New York and Louis Comfort Tiffany. This offering includes a large plate or platter (charger) measuring 14 3/8” diameter and a 5 1/2” tall vase. Both pieces display Sorensen’s signature verdigris pagination with brass banding are signed.
