This double handled Victorian art glass vase was made by the Mount Washington Glass Works Co. from New Bedford Massachussets … Read more This double handled Victorian art glass vase was made by the Mount Washington Glass Works Co. from New Bedford Massachussets and it was made in the mid to late 19th Century. The Mount Washington Glass Works Co. was established in Massachussets back in 1837 and they were the original primiere American glass house making Venetian Victorian art glass in the US. This double handled Victorian art glass vase was hand blown by a skilled craftsman who blew this piece into a mould to give it the spiral design with blue glass cased over white. This vase measures 4 7/8" tall by 5 1/4" wide with the handles and it is in "Excellent Condition" with no cracks, no repairs, and slight wear to the piece with a chip to each handle only for the age of the piece.
