Since that time I have not yet come across a stone bottle, identified as Orca or Oriental Agate that bears any resemblance to this interesting rock. The shape too, a flattened globular form that has a dramatic tapering to the base. Though inelegant, it has a masculine quality about it that it had once belonged to someone with power, and never associated with a female snuff user. The dating should be somewhere in the late 19th century. The stopper is specially made for it recently. It is red jasper supported by a silver collar. See less
