A wonderful early 20th century wood bowl carved of a single piece of wood with geometric patterns around the exterior, by the nomadic Tuareg of the Sahara desert of North Africa.
Since wood is hard to come by, these old cracked bowls are repaired rather than discarded and passed down though generations. This bowl is in very good condition with a nice patina.
