Antique TK Thun white porcelain serving platter in the very hard to find Maria Louisa patterns with spring floral motif. Marked Thun Made in Czechoslovakia with a crown and TK above the word Thun. This mark was used from 1939 to 1945.
Thun is the largest producer of Czech porcelain. Count Franz Joseph Thun and J.N. Weber founded Thun in 1794. Thun porcelains are used for official receptions by the President of Czech Republic and many other embassies throughout the world.
