The legs connected with all-around stretchers arranged in "step-by-step" pattern (lowest at the front and highest at the rear) symbolizing promotion or prosperity. The three-piece Kunmen-style apron set under the front of the seat, the S-shaped back splat finely carved with "magpie on plum-blossom" motif* and a floral interlocking pattern within separate frames, the front and rear stiles under the three-piece armrest/back rail decorated with carved panels. The replaced rattan seats supported by the wooden boards underneath, natural wood finish. See less
