I grew up with this set - it only came out when we had company, and I always loved it - its simple elegance. It had belonged to my grandmother, who brought it with her when she came to the "new world" from Germany in the 1930s, when she joined my mother, who had arrived earlier. I've cherished the set ever since inheriting it 20+ years ago. Now, with downsizing, I no longer entertain, have no place to store it, and no one to pass it on to. While I loathe parting with it, I hope it finds a home with someone who enjoys its beauty and will put it to good use.

1 sugar bowl with lid, 6 3/4" W (with handles) x 4 1/4" H
