Offered is a heavy textured art glass centerpiece bowl designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard Copenhagen in the late 1960s. The design is a tight starburst in a ridged crystal ice or Ice bark texture, and a deeply scalloped edge, to resemble petals. The texture is on the exterior of the bowl, the interior is smooth. The bowl is perfect for fruit, a sumptuous dessert mousse, as a wide vase for flowers, or simply to display in your art glass collection - make sure it gets serious sunlight to show off its sparkle. There are 24 "petals" which will help you when arranging flowers. This piece is a timeless classic and will work with any decor, and will make an amazing wedding gift or hostess gift.
