This is a very whimsical object, a lotus pod with movable seeds with two little frogs sitting at the edge. The lotus pod is a very realistic presentation and its three legs are consisted of lotus root, water caltrop and a snail. It is not signed but in the tradition of all the great Yixing potter who did natural objects - Chen Mingyuan. The object is well potted, the seeds do move within their space, the two frogs add to the whimsy. See less
