FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US! This is a set of Italian faience tazzas. According to a hand-written tag accompanying them and documenting the provenance, these tazzas are from the descendants of the Woolworth family. Early 20th century. Beautiful creamy reticulated oval bowls raised on a triangular plinth of lion paws. The center of each bowl is decorated with highly stylized roosters and colorful flowers. Each piece is hand-painted and measures 11" tall x 9" wide x 13" long. Aside from their obvious aesthetic appeal, these tazzas could be used to hold bread, fruit, or whatever you might like to offer your guests. Both marked Italy on the base. One is in very good condition, while the other shows a repair (please see last photo). A fine example of Italian faience, beautifully designed. A rare pair!
