Hailing from the mid century era, it was hand crafted from solid brass (it's very heavy). It has a sturdy base and bowl the elegantly shaping like that of a lotus flower. It sits perfectly on it's chinoiserie style wooden base - adding an extra height and dimension. The underside has a number hand etched into it by the maker "4971".
