Not the English stuff, the American stuff from the 50s and 60s? The white every here and there goes translucent and just a *touch* bluey lavender. I have a theory they were using the same glass to glaze the ironstone as they were using on the fireking style milk glass. Unprovable, but hmmm. Anyway, this is Dover white, and yes, every here and there the glaze goes translucent and you get a peak of underneath. It's pure farmhouse country. I swear there's dessert plates around here somewhere, when I find them, I'll list them. See less
