This sterling silver basket by 18th century London silversmith Samuel Herbert & Co. is very heavy gauge silver. It is hallmarked (please see photo.) The style is rococo with heavy pierce-work. The base is sand cast.
This sterling basket is in very good original condition with little wear consistent with age and use.
Dimensions: 14.5” width, 12” depth, 5” height with handle down, 12” height with handle up.
