The handles … Read more These art nouveau scissors with a silver handle sit in a leather case with a gold embossed decoration. The handles look and feel like sterling but are not marked. The blade is marked with what looks like the numeral "21" (may be for centimeters - the scissors measure 8" x 2.25") The table/desk top case is marked, "Mesuer Paris" on the underside. There is another space in the case which is probably for a letter opener. The case measures 9.5 in. X 3.5 in. The set in in excellent antique condition with age appropriate wear. See less
