A beautiful English gold and white porcelain plate or dish, circa early 20th century, England, Europe. Lavish botanical Regency style garlands are represented on the margins of the plate. Gold Empire style medallion ornate areas connect the intricate design patterns. Piece has embossed golden band around the rim. Demonstrated shown as a jewelry dish. Piece can be used for dinnerware. Makers' mark "Balmoral" and "England" appears on reverse, together with the "J Caldwell" hallmark. Piece would make a nice gift.
