The original workings have been removed and replaced with a battery movement that keeps time. The battery will be removed for shipping, takes one AA battery. I will ship the original workings, pendulum, and key, should the buyer be interested in restoring the clock to its original mechanisms, but I make no guarantee that this is possible as the original parts were removed when I found it at an estate sale and I am not a clock expert. Nonetheless, the clock is a very unique item that is in current working condition via its battery mechanism and presents in lovely vintage condition, ready to hang on a wall. less
