Not Marked but it is … Read more This is a Great Looking Antique American Blue Decorated Stoneware Liquor Jug. Circa Early 1900s. Not Marked but it is an Approx 1 Gallon Size. It is Rendered in the Classic Two Color Jug Form - Style. The front is Stencil Decorated with Nice Blue Color Lettering - Reads "H. SWARTZ & CO. WHOLESALE LIQUOR DEALERS LEVERETT ST. BOSTON MASS." Back in the day these type of jugs were on loan to customers from Dry Goods - Grocery stores, Retail Establishments Etc. as They Could be Used and Refilled. It is in Excellent Condition - Displays Nicely. No Damage.
It Measures Overall Approx 11 inches Tall x 7 1/4 inches Long - Wide.
