This jar design was originally designed for an emperor. The foo dogs are exquisite. This jar dates somewhere between 1960's and 1980's and crafted after an original emperor floor ginger jar. It is massive in size at 33", as can be seen in pictures with a teacup beside it.
It has been appraised by Pickle Road Appraisals often featured on The Antiques Roadshow.
