This antique table from Spain features a … Read more A Spanish trestle-leg wood table, with decorative forged-iron stretcher, from the 18th century. This antique table from Spain features a rectangular-shaped top, which is raised upon a pair of nicely-carved, trestle-styled legs, with carved wood supporting them just above their ankles. The underside of the table is braced by a pair of beautifully hand-forged iron stretchers, crossing at the center to create an arched shape, creating visual interest and further embellishment to this piece. The wood top (note that there is some bowing) has a lovely warm patina; a reflection of it's history and age. The legs have had prior paint to resemble graining (see additional images for further detail). This 18th century Spanish trestle table with iron stretcher is approximately four feet in length, making it perfect for use as an occasional table or a handsome desk. See less
