Important Porcelain Tableware Service 108 Pieces 19th Century The tableware is inspired by the life of a mythological story and is completely hand painted with different allegory scenes of vintage, music, arts, love, etc. The 24-karat gold decoration features exquisite relief work simulating small pearls. Some plates are signed with the initials: AJ On the back of each plate bears the mark: Murano Venise (written in French, not in Italian) - this suggests that this tableware was a special order where the porcelain is Italian and the design made in France (it is not known if there were Murano porcelain factories) The colors are very good as well as the gilding and the conservation in general are excellent There are no broken or missing plates It is possible that there was made at the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century.Total 108 pieces 12 soup plates 36 flat plates 12 plates and 12 cups of coffee or tea 12 dessert plates 1 sugar bowl 2 fruit bowls 1 sauce boat 2 spice shelves 2 compotes 2 vegetables 8 various sources 1 salad bowl 1 punch bowl 2 soup tureens.
