It's one of 4 different … Read more A rare mid 19th Century French Marotte/Milliner mannequin bust in green dress and black hair. It's one of 4 different ones we have in the store at the moment. These Papier-Mâché were constructed and painted by hand, by artists of the era and would sit in window shops where a wig or hat would adorn each. The characters created would depict different women in different dress type; each unique and splendid in her own way. They are absolutely beautiful and we're elated to offer them for sale. They are a rare and unique decor that is sure to stand out and be a conversation piece in a house decor.
