This vintage 1980's rare Fiorucci New Wave Italian fashion iconic porcelain heart shaped Post Modern ceramic dish is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. The heart shaped dish is made in Italy in the 1980's by the Italian fashion brand Fiorucci. The white ceramic dish features a New Wave fashion Post Modern style iconic logo design and rim details in red.
The world famous Italian fashion brand Fiorucci was founded in 1967 in Italy by Elio Fiorucci. the first shop exposed Milan to the styles of swinging London and American classics such as the t-shirt and jeans. By the late 1970's and early 1980's this would be reversed, and the New York store would become famous for the fashions it introduced in The United States.
In the early 1980's the Fiorucci boutique in New York City was the epicenter of the New Wave Post Modern fashion scene. It was the place to be, and referred to as " The Daytime Studio 54 ". It attracted trendsetters including Andy Warhol and a young Madonna, among many other creative and well known people.
The rare 1980's Fiorucci porcelain ceramic heart dish measures 5" W X 5" D X 3/4" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, light use, and light signs of handling. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.
