Stunning vintage hand carved Chinese Duan ink stone for use with solid pigment calligraphy ink sticks! This is a really beautiful example, cases in its original wood case with lid, all hand carved with a dragon motif. Duan is the most sought after ink stone for it's smooth surface, and this one is a great example!
This would make a lovely gift for someone interested in Chinese culture, or just as a unique desk accessory.
