This plaster model of a shark by Tony Trezza has a dark green verdigris patina. Fins were repaired by an art restoration company but not repainted. The shark is mounted on a 2 tiered finished wooden base.
Measurements are approximate due to the fluid shape of the piece.
Nose to far end of base 24”
Nose to end of fin 29”
Height base to top of dorsal fin 17.5”
Width fin to fin 16.5”
The sculpture was first done in clay, then this plaster version was made, and finally a version was cast in bronze.
I will also be listing the bronze version soon. The bronze version was displayed at the Philadelphia Zoo during a special event many years ago.
