This chair is a rare variant of the model Pragh - built with the same legs and armrests but with different back design but very intriguing backrest design displaying more like a wingback chair. This chair designed by Ib Madsen and Acton Schubell in the early 1950s for their own company Madsen and Schubell Madsen located just north of Copenhagen. A very sculptural and almost sensuous design with armrests in solid teak and legs and uprights made from oak. The wood is in very good condition but the padding and fabric is tired and need to get replaced. See less
