Otto Heinz created this art form of fusing sterling silver to bronze. This piece is not signed Heinz but it is of the period and very beautiful, and he created this art form but didn't receive the patent until 1912. This piece is very beautiful Art Nouveau with a Sterling mark on the flower. It’s also one of the prettiest I’ve ever found, with the beautiful sinuous flower that covers most of the plate. It is a gorgeous work of art by a master craftsman who by his upbringing, his parents were manufacturing jewelers, translated Art Nouveau into precious metals. This piece measures 7”W which is larger than his later examples and is in very good condition. It retains the original patina, which is a copper finished bronze. Very heavy. It shows age but not damage. See less
