About The Jeunesse Communiste (Young Communists):The MJCF was founded in 1920 as the "Fédération nationale des jeunesses socialistes-communistes de France". The MJCF is organised independently of the French communist party, deciding its laws, structure and leaders as well as its stances, while continuously engaging with the party about the actions and stances to take in keeping with a transformational vision of society.
About Picasso's Dove: Picasso "was asked to design an image of peace. His resulting 1949 painting, Dove of Peace, became the logo for the First International Peace Conference in Paris that year and was then adopted as an international communist symbol. The Soviet government recognized him with its national peace prize twice, in 1950 and 1962." (jacobin.com)
