It appears to hold four pipes, and one can stash Tobacco or paraphernalia inside the vessel. There is no signature, maker's mark, or label.

It could also be used as a vide poche for keys and loose change, or as men's dresser valet for cufflinks, tie pins, a watch, etc.

The base measures 16" W x 4.75" D x 1.25" H, and with the outrigger, it measures nearly 5" in height. See less
