This hand carved … Read more A hand carved storage container with unattached lid from India from the early to mid 20th C. This hand carved wooden storage container has a beautiful patina and visible woodgrain to demonstrate its age. It was likely used for storing a grain like rice in the kitchen. These are authentic vessels and not reproductions or created for tourists. The vessel is hollow inside and was hand turned with a lathe from a single block of wood.

Clean lines make these vessels extremely versatile to complement almost any decor; from modern, to boho, to traditional. We have three similar vessels total in our inventory, however each one is unique and a piece of art unto itself. These are all the same price.
