The lampshade can be displayed with or without decorative trim ring on outer most edge as shown in the photos. The guard prevents the glass bumping into the walls for protection if desired. Frosted glass with transfer printed tortoise repeat pattern and embossed pleats within the glass. The opulent glass gives off a warm tone lighting, soft glow reflections. Shown here using 100 watts incandescent light. Grandeur design with exaggerated lines and impressive size. Fluted metal column pedestal with painted crackle effect. Gold gilt accents, antiqued bronzed laurel leaf motifs and architectural molding trim on the top, neck and base.

In sound structural form, very good to excellent preowned condition with minimal wear to the edges. The large size works well in grand open spaces with tall ceilings.
