Set of eight, antique silver on copper wine bottle coaster with a reticulated, pierced design and a wood base. Similar items from the late 18th century were known as "trellis work" coasters. These items are collectible tableware often found in Georgian or Victorian styles.
Turned wooden bases with five rivets holding them in place.
Condition:Coasters are slightly bent from many years of use. One has only one rivet holding the wooden base in place, there are six coasters with one small rivet missing.
May be polished further.
