The plates are approx 10 3/4 long by 7 1/2" wide with gold edging a spot for a teacup. Good condition, no chips. On the back of these plates there are very tiny lines. I tried to show them in a picture but you really have to look very close in bright light to see these tiny lines. I don't know if this is from age or if it's a defect from the maker as the tiny lines are pretty persistent on the backs of all 4 plates. (No lines on front) Otherwise very nice collectible set See less
