Pair of early 19th century Louis XVI style fauteuil armchairs with hand-carved frames featuring oval backs with partially upholstered arms with scrolled knuckles, supported by fluted tapered legs in beautiful original painted finish with brown and gray undertones. Newly upholstered with double welting with original horsehair stuffing. An elegant choice for a bedroom, foyer or living room.
Condition: Chairs are sturdy with age appropriate wear to wood.
